At Window Seal Systems - we have been fabricating and installing Secondary Glazing Systems, Window Sound Proofing Systems and Flyscreens for all window and door types since 1989. Our wide range of products and designs allow us to complete work on any building type.

Our Secondary Glazing System - Saves Energy, Increases 'U' Values, Minimises Noise Levels and Adds Security to all window types. Available in all RAL colour choices to match existing decor and different glass types, to give maximum benefits.
Secondary Glazing
Secondary Glazing is the installation of a second pane of glazing inside an already existing pane. It is a cost-effective solution to double glazing, as the existing window is preserved and the secondary glazing provides many of the same benefits. At Window Seal we can provide custom-built and fitted secondary glazing to suit any of your needs.
Fly Screens For Windows
In 1985 we were delighted to be the first Irish company to design, patent and produce our own fly-screen range and hardware pack here in Ireland for all window types.
Our system has no open joints with plastic corners and comes with inner-corner cleets in both rigid pvc and aluminium, for additional strength. In-built in the profile, we have a twin-wall colour-coded brush piling to create a cushion between the existing window frame, and this also helps create a perfect seal every time.
Fly Screens for Doors:
When fitting Secondary Glazing Systems, it is advisable to use a different glass thickness to the one in the existing window. From an ‘energy-saving’ point, the ‘U’ value of single-pane glazing would be between 5-7, and fitting of Secondary Glazing will reduce this to between 1.6 and 2.4, depending on existing window quality, which would be similar or better than a conventional 12-16mm vacuum-sealed double glazed unit. Gas-filled systems would be more energy efficient.
Draught Proofing
Our system can be used on all wooden doors - at the top of doors, around jambs and perimeters of openings on casement windows/loft hatches or attic entrance doors and much more. It is particularly useful where doors may have become warped and require a seal with extra reach.
Storm Doors
We have just fitted our 50th "Storm Door" - a refined, powder-coated, colour-coded aluminium screen door, usually fitted onto its own extension framing, which can be fitted outside of any door to help protect the existing door from the elements during winter months - has been available in Ireland since 1995.
This door can eliminate the possibility of having to change your beautiful hardwood door. The Storm Screen Door, fitted independently of the existing door (on drop-pin cast steel hinges), can be removed easily for the summer months, if necessary.

Had secondary glazing in front windows as we have a lot of traffic on our road. The difference is just fantastic. Noise and vibration is massively reduced.Barely know when a car or lorry passes by now.Extra advantage is rooms are now retaining heat better. Also excellent customer service and reliable. Wind-Do Seal Ltd personnel were very friendly and helpful people, from initial contact to delivery and fitting. We live on a very busy city street front and the traffic noise had become intolerable, especially at night over the past few years. The Secondary Glazing installed by Harold, John & co has greatly reduced the noise to almost unnoticeable, with the added benefit of better heat insulation as well. We have been heartily recommending them to family and friends.

Just a quick 'thank you' to you and your team for installing your wonderful Secondary Glazing at my house in Gurteen Village.
As you know, my house is on a busy road with an ever increasing volume of traffic passing only 3 meters from the front door. I didn't want to replace the existing hardwood windows and, although they are double glazed, the noise ingress from passing trucks, cars and tractors had become intolerable. The Secondary Glazing you installed has massively reduced this noise ingress and, without exaggeration, has given me my home back.
The hardwood windows to the rear are only single glazed and here the main issue was heat loss. Since you had your Secondary Glazing fitted, the house is much warmer and the condensation we had on those windows has been eliminated.
Your professional team fitted the Secondary Glazing in only a few hours, with minimal disruption and zero mess. Overall, the result has well exceeded my expectations. I am delighted with it and can certainly recommend Secondary Glazing, and your Company, for maximum results with minimal disruption.

As you know we live on a very busy road just outside of Ballinasloe. We had been suffering from road noise, particularly late night traffic resulting in lots of sleepless nights. We met at an exhibition, you called, measured, costed and then we had your Secondary Glazing fitted to some of our windows. The results were immediate.
They are just great, as they have got rid of the road noise and it has made our home much warmer as well. We find our home much easier to heat. I know of many people in Ballinasloe and elsewhere, who have had their windows done as well and are completely satisfied.
