Greenbuild Energy

Greenbuild offers a range of services to designers and builders who wish to build to high energy efficiency standards, such as Passive House, and for homeowners who are cold in their homes or who wish to upgrade their homes for more comfortable, energy efficient living.

The range of services includes:

• Air Tightness Advisory and testing of buildings using blower door to EN9972:2015. We are the company that has been the longest time on the NSAI register of competent testers to operate to this standard. We are also registered to perform multi-fan tests on larger or leakier buildings
• Thermal Imaging - finding the sources of heat loss in your building using an Infra red - see some examples below. This can also be used to find water leakages in some circumstances. Gavin Ó Sé is PCN Level 2 certified for building applications.


• Ventilation flow rate testing - checking of ventilation flow rates as per the latest revision of Part F


• General energy efficiency advice and road maps for upgrades

Other Services:

• Plan review - Before you build, have your plans checked for energy efficiency, such as orientation, insulation and airtightness
• Part L - Compliance with the building regulations for energy performance of buildings
• Product and work method information - such as 'What building system should I use?'
• Project specific product reviews - For example, if you are sure you require solar water heating but don't know how to choose.

In line with reducing our carbon footprint, whilst we welcome enquiries from any area, we especially welcome those from the South East of Ireland, as it means travelling times and fuel consumption are reduced.
