Welcome to Flynn's Painting Contractors
Flynn's Painting Contractors was established in 1922 by James Flynn. James died in 1940 and his son Charlie Flynn who served his time with his dad, continued the business and grew it into a sizable contracting firm completing many large-scale projects. After a big recession Charlie ceased trading, but his son James/Jimmy recommenced the business. Jimmy had a small team of 6 – 10 men and traded until the recent recession in 2009 when he retired. Jimmy served his time with his dad Charlie. Adrian Flynn who served his time with his farther Jimmy relaunched the business in 2016.
We currently have a small team of men and do commercial, domestic and industrial jobs.
We are VAT registered and fully insured.
We specialize in New Houses, New Housing Developments, maintenance, renewal and Superior Homes. We only use high quality materials and our work is of the highest professional standard.
Company Experience
Flynn's Painting Contractors was established in 1922.
At one stage or another from 1922 until the present day, Flynn's Painting Contractors have painted almost every shop front and bar in Dundalk.
Flynn's Painting Contractors have also painted a number of industrial factories and offices in County Louth and Dublin.
We have also painted a number of schools in Louth, Monaghan, Dublin and Kildare and a number of Hospitals in Louth and Dublin. Charlie Flynn painted the Louth Hospital on the Dublin Road in Dundalk before it opened in 1959. We have completed many projects over the years for the HSE in the Eastern Region.
We specialize in New Houses, New Housing Developments and have decorated most of the private housing developments around Dundalk going back to the 1960’s. We also decorated New Housing Developments in Counties Monaghan, Cavan, Meath and possibly a few more.
We also specialize in Superior Homes and have decorated a number of churches over the years.
We only use high quality materials and our work is of the highest professional standard.
