Our Standard Glass Block is 190mm x 190mm x 80mm and is built using Glass block mortar, spacers (2mm, 5mm, 10mm or 16mm) and reinforcing rods, this way you get a strong great looking wall that will last and still look good in 20 years.

We can price for the supply and fit of glass blocks and as well as offsite prefabrication and installation of Pavement lights or basement light panels made with concrete and glass blocks and reinforced so they can be walked on. Our unique technology cell windows are supplied to Garda stations, Courthouses and prisons Countrywide. The Design range at Glass Block Co. has a massive selection of blocks available from Clear blocks, Metallic blocks, Metallic colours, Metallic colour injected as well as more standard colours most of which as available frosted 1 side or both sides.

The Glass Block Company’s design range is based on the market leading Pegasus design which allows you to have joints as small as mm tuss creating a near invisible joint when using the metallic blocks with light grey mortar.

The quality is also very crisp and clear, a step ahead of the basic range. Glass Block Co. is the sole agent for the SEVES Design range in Ireland. Glass Block - Technology Range
The Technology Line is part of the Seves glassblock catalogue that contains high performance glass blocks. The glass blocks in the Technology Line are ideal for applications requiring: light control, safety (fire resistance, reinforced structure) heat insulation and sound proofing, in addition to traditional luminosity.

With over 80 references in a large range of formats, thicknesses and finishes, the Technology Line contains glass blocks both for vertical structures and for horizontal structures. Technology Line glass blocks are produced in compliance with regulation EN 1051-1.

Glass Block Cell Windows
Glass Block Co and Alan Howard are Irelands only Cell window and Pavement light Manufactures, we bought the Technology from Cromer Bros 9 years ago and ever since then we have been working with the OPW and Local Councils around the country suppling our Cell Windows for Garda Stations which are being updated newly built or refurbished.

Our Cell windows have recently been installed in MayFeild Cork, Ennis Garda stations and Portlaoise Courthouse. Glass Block Co. prides itself in providing the best standards of works as set out in the specifications which are approved by the OPW.

Glass Block Pavement Panels
Glass Block Co. and Alan Howard are Irelands only Cell window and Pavement light Manufactures, we bought the Technology from Cromer Bros 9 years ago and ever since then we have been working with the OPW and Local Councils around the country suppling our pavement panels and Streets lights on main Streets where old ones have become damaged. We provide for the domestic market also.

They can be seen all over Dublin city streets where they are being use to get light down into the basement area, our latest panels will be installed on the Corner of Grafton Street And South Annes Street in the Coming months 2015.

Energy Saving
Glass Block Co. Offer an energy saving glass blocks which has a U value as low as 1.5 W/m2k. These innovative blocks are also filled with argon gas and have a sheet of glass in the middle making it triple glazed. Glass Block Co. also offers an installation service on these blocks so as to insure a perfect job every time.
