£90,000 Resurfacing Project To Start In Sixmilecross

Work is to start on a £90,000 road improvement project in Sixmilecross, Northern Ireland.

The resurfacing work on the B46 Cooley Road is to start on Wednesday 29 October.

Resurfacing of a 1.1km stretch of the road between Patricks Road and Altamuskin Road is expected to be complete by Monday 3 November.

Transport Minister Danny Kennedy said: "This scheme will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of the carriageway between Omagh and Sixmilecross and I am confident the improvements will be welcomed by local resident and visitors to the area."

To help ensure the safety of road users and contractors a full closure of the B46 Cooley Road will be in place from 8am on Wednesday 29 October to 6pm on Monday 3 November.
