Cleanroom installation is performed by experienced Guardtech engineers supported by approved, fully trained sub-contractors for specialist services.
The Guardtech Cleanrooms Installation Engineers are professionally trained in controlled environment construction and have years of experience, not only installing critical environments but also servicing and operating within them. With an in-house structural and electrical team, utilising the Guardtech Installation Engineers offers far tighter control of the project combined with a quicker and more consistent installation, whilst presenting substantial cost savings.
CLEANROOM COMMISSIONING
We are specialists at testing controlled environments with clean air devices to ensure ongoing ISO14644-1:2015 certification or cGMP compliance.

“Guardtech were commissioned to build an ISO7 cleanroom within our relocated manufacturing facility. Guardtech take fight to COVID with CleanCube mobile testing labs
GUARDTECH CLEANROOMS are doing their bit to help save lives during the COVID-19 pandemic with their hugely successful line of CleanCube mobile labs.
The Haverhill-based firm, who have designed, constructed and commissioned cleanrooms for 20 years, have partnered with Cignpost Diagnostics to provide clients in elite-level professional sport and a string of major television and film production companies with mobile COVID-testing units and BSL2 (Bio-safety level two) containment suites.
The CleanCube comes in three forms ¬– shipping containers, Luton Box Vans and modular buildings – with internal fittings matching the specifications usually associated with most standard labs and cleanrooms.
Government figures suggest that there have been more than 400,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Britain, with more than 40,000 deaths.
And with the R rate seemingly on the rise, around 13.5 million people across the UK are expected to be placed under some form of local restriction to try to combat the spread of the virus.
The government have also become embroiled in a desperate struggle to find appropriate lab space to cope with the pandemic, with test turnaround times increasing and more and more people finding it difficult not only to book tests promptly, but to find a testing station close to home.
Being able to provide support to the country at such a critical time is a source of “great pride” for Guardtech’s Commercial Director Mark Wheeler, who revealed that the company are turning around their high-performance mobile testing units in the space of just two weeks per cleanroom.
“We’re really honoured to be doing something that is potentially going to help save lives,” he said. “Our entire team have worked tirelessly to get as many of these CleanCube mobile testing units and labs out there as possible ¬– as quickly as we can – while maintaining our usual high standards.
“We’re finding that companies are more conscious than ever about protecting their workforce, and so the demand for our mobile cleanrooms has risen exponentially.”
Guardtech have fresh orders coming in on a weekly basis, yet Mr Wheeler insists that his team of highly skilled Installation Engineers is ready to meet growing demand.
The company already provide a wide range of products and services, from smaller scale quick-assembly ISOPOD cleanrooms and other modular buildings, to comprehensive turnkey design-and-build construction projects.
But it’s their CleanCube range that is proving to be a real difference-maker for businesses across the UK right now – with Mr Wheeler suggesting that haste is key.
“People are dying because of this horrendous virus – there’s no time to waste,” he added. “Many businesses simply don’t have the time to wait for the execution of detailed design-and-construction projects. Growing places – Guardtech defy recession with three new additions
Guardtech Cleanrooms ring the changes with new Financial Controller, Quality Lead and Marketing Manager
GUARDTECH CLEANROOMS have bucked the trend of businesses in recession-hit Britain by recruiting three new members to their expanding line-up.
The Haverhill-based team have appointed Heidi Utley as their new Financial Controller and Martin Sewell as Quality Lead, while Joe Shackley takes on the role of Marketing Manager.
Guardtech have continued their strong growth in 2020, despite the devastating global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This has largely been down to a string of impressive turnkey cleanroom contracts, ever-growing demand for their revolutionary new CleanCube mobile labs and their innovative ISOPOD self-assembly modular cleanrooms.
The new Guardtech trio arrive with a wealth and variety of experience in Finance, Pharmaceuticals and Print and Digital Publishing.
Quality Lead Mr Sewell has over 15 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, with extensive knowledge of warehousing, safety procedure and best practice.
“Throughout my career, I’ve always been flexible in my approach to helping other departments,” he said. “That’s just one of the reasons I love my new role – as well as having the ability to grow and learn. I’ve always been keen to get involved with the growth of a company.”
He admitted that his new position as Quality Lead at a construction firm is a “big responsibility”, but he was glowing in his praise for his new colleagues.
“I’m loving my new adventure at Guardtech Cleanrooms – working with the team here has been an absolute pleasure since day one,” he continued.
