About Artisan Frames
Artisan Frames offer a bespoke framing service in hand-finished frames. We frame both traditional and contemporary art in all mediums, specialising in contemporary framing.

Our frames are made to the highest conservation standard and we stock speciality glass such as claryl non glare glass and shott miroguard museum glass for maximum Art protection.
In the manufacture of our products you can be sure that each work is handled with great care and personal attention.

Mounting works on paper.
There are many methods and techniques in mounting artwork into frames. Many are familiar with window mounting which up until recent times has been perceived as a little old fashioned.
All trends in the last few years have been towards float mounting for box framing but there seems to be a swing back towards the older methods once again particularly with extra thick mountboard to give that museum quality to your work.
Cut Mounts available to order
You can now order a quantity of mounts to any size and we can cut,package and ship the direct to your door!
Just give us the opening size and the outside size (or the inside size of the frame) and we will do the rest.
