I just used these for a new building , not only are they very well made they saved me all the hassle of a tradtional concrete foundation. There was no mess and me & my son installed a foundation for a 10 m x 5 m wide wooden lodge in 8 hours. The support from Martin at swift is excellent . Highly recommend swift foundations , I will be using again for sure.

I would and have been recommending Swift Foundations as not only is it a great product and easy to use and if like my project access is poor and all materials have to go through the house then this is the product to use. It negates the use of concrete, stone and damproofing issues and for these reasons I would also use this system on projects in situations where access is good. I chose this company over other similar companies as i found the sales staff friendly and their knowledge of the product was excellent.

We were recommended to use Swift plinths since they suited our sip build. We were worried that you would be able to see them and the house would look as if it were on stilts, but with paving slabs, rodent mesh and cladding, they were covered and now look nice. Our interaction with Martin from Swift Foundations was very good, quick and accommodating, and we had a good experience with Swift Foundations’ delivery service and can definitely recommend them if this is the sort of foundation you need.

I needed to build a substantial outbuilding near protected trees, and found the ‘Swift’ system on the net. This seemed a good alternative to piling. On contacting them, it quickly became obvious they were ultra-attentive and helpful. On ordering the products, they arrived quickly and with no issues. The system is very cost effective, easy to use and does exactly what it says. Really excellent, and I have no hesitation in recommending this to a prospective purchaser. And I don’t usually feel comfortable recommending anything to anyone.

I bought 3 Foundation Rafts to go under 3 timber buildings as they were cheaper than laying concrete. Also I did not want the excavation work or the mess of laying concrete slabs. The Rafts came in kit form on pallets and were easy to assemble from the drawings provided – I saved a lot of time as I did not have to wait for the concrete to cure as I would have done had I laid slabs. Also all the timbers were cut to size and all the joist hangers were already nailed on, so that saved even more time. Should I wish to remove the buildings in the future I can easily remove the foundations and restore the site to its original condition without creating rubble for landfill. Foundation Rafts represent great value for money and I would recommend them.

I used as it foundations as a base for a log cabin being built in a wood between Whitby and scarborough.
Swift proximity was usefull being only 20 miles away .The benifit of keeping the
Cabin off the ground reduced damp problems and gave an instant base .
The ability to later adjust any level deviations is a good plus point over a concrete raft .

Swift foundations were amazing. Everything was delivered to us and the instructions were so easy to follow. The base was constructed in less that 2hrs. This base was for our log cabin which is 20’ x 11’ so needed a solid base on which to put it.

I don’t normally do reviews, everyone else has said everything I want to say but I’m so pleased with the product that I felt I had to.
I bought the Swift Deck 2.4m X 4.7m decking kit through Homebase.
The Kit arrived well packed after a phone call from swift to let me know it was on its way and to arrange a suitable day for delivery.
Having studied the instruction sheet I set up the foundation pads, this was the most difficult and time consuming part of the construction. Although, to be fair, it only took so long because I wanted to be sure of getting it right first time. My garden seems to slope in about 97 different directions so the height adjustable pads were immensely helpful. Once I’d set up the foundations to my satisfaction the timber joists were easy to install and level. They just slot into pre-installed joist hangers.
I loved the fact that you don’t have to saw the timber, it all comes in pre-cut lengths. The timber is all of a good quality and comes pre treated.
Having window shopped for some decent decking for some time, I was impressed at Swifts 32mm thick deck boards. Some suppliers sell what they call premium boards that are only 28mm thick.
Once The whole thing was assembled (a couple of afternoons work) it is a really solid, stable deck, thanks to the good quality timber.
They even supply a roll of artificial grass to fasten round the sides.
The only minor issue was a missing pack of screws which arrived very quickly after an email message to Swift.
All in all I couldn’t be happier with my deck kit and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Swifts customer service and communication has been superb
It looks like I’m the first to review this product so I hope it has been of some help

Excellent service. This was for my first significant garden construction project (a 3.6m x 4.8m shed). Martin and his team were very patient and helpful, explaining my options and how to use the product, and designing what I needed. Swift foundations was a great find. I had been searching for some time for a foundations solution that wasn’t a massive slab of concrete and after quite a few comparisons I found Swift Foundations to be the best option. Martin Lowe and his team were extremely helpful and ready to solve any issues that came along on my log cabin project. They were quick to respond to emails and their follow up assistance and service was great. Delivery date for my foundations raft kit is imminent and it is expected that I should be able to put the kit together with ease. I would strongly recommend Swift Foundations as a great foundations solution.
