The Mini Piling Company offer a pro-active approach with clients, engineers and main contractors where our piling experience enables us to advise on the most economic solutions for all mini piling and underpinning problems.
We have offices in Belfast, Balbriggan and Carlow which offer a free piling advice, design and estimate service. Being a local company we pride ourselves on providing a fast, flexible and efficient service at very competitive prices.
The principals of the company Robert Hamilton and Ian Bogie, both well known figures in the piling industry, have between them over 40 years experience of piling in Ireland.
Mini Piling
The mini piling solutions offered are ideal for foundation problems:
In limited access locations such as house extensions and conservatories where spoil excavation and removal would be both difficult and expensive;
In built up areas where noise and vibration are a consideration and are particularly cost effective when compared to conventional systems;
In limited headroom locations within buildings for alterations to existing structures or for new work such as lift pits, machine bases etc.
In all small piling contracts such as foundations for a single house where the cost of mobilising large equipment and the cost of the site preparation required would be prohibitive.
Underpinning
The Underpinning solutions available include a number of tried and tested systems incorporating mini-piles and reinforced concrete beams or slabs, some which can be carried out entirely from outside the existing building minimizing disruption and therefore cost.
Settlement or subsidence problems tend to be specific to a particular property so the underpinning solutions we propose are individually designed to suit. The underpinning techniques can be used for the stabilization of failing foundations or for the upgrading of foundations or slabs to allow increased capacity for a change of use.
Cost effective installations in situations with limited access and working space including strengthening for failing retaining walls, support for new built retaining walls and any situation where tension capacity is required, such as sign bases, tents etc.
