Reference for Pavel and RD Renovators and Pavelas Limoninas

Client Engagement:
We engaged with Pavel and RD Renovators in December 2023 to procure sanitary ware, including shower fittings, vanity units, toilets, and towel rails, sourced from Hatria and Gattoni in Italy. An agreement was made for a €15,000 deposit, with the balance due upon delivery, estimated to take six weeks.

Initial Payment and Delays:
We paid the deposit in early January and scheduled the delivery for April. Upon contacting Pavel in April to confirm delivery, he avoided calls for two weeks, citing communication issues with Hatria annd Gattoni, the Italian suppliers and an inability to confirm delivery dates.

Tracking Issues and Partial Delivery:
We were later informed that the goods were en route but received no tracking number. When finally provided in May, the tracking details indicated insufficient weight for the complete order. Pavel assured us all items were included, but when the delivery arrived after further delays, most of the goods were missing. Again he sited the suppliers as being at fault. It appeared he had only ordered the minimal fittings required to start the job.

Further Complications and Missing Items:
Despite his feigned surprise, Pavel continued to avoid communication for four more weeks. Queries about the €15,000 deposit went unanswered. Some delivered parts were incorrect, necessitating a builder’s trip to Gattoni in Italy to collect the correct parts, delaying our move by two months.

Unreliable Practices:
Pavel later requested additional cash to procure toilets locally, despite our understanding that the initial deposit covered these items. As of now, six to seven months after our initial engagement, we still lack the marble sink for the master bedroom and vanity units for two other bedrooms.

Conclusion:
Our experience with Pavel and RD Renovators has been marked by unreliability, lack of trustworthiness, and poor communication. We strongly advise against using their services for property refurbishment. For further information, please contact P&J Construction or Rodney at Maison RAD Design to verify our account.
