A new trading partnership between Steico Limited and Sonae UK Limited covering the whole of Ireland has been agreed with immediate effect.

The partnership will see Sonae's Spanboard sales force teaming its own market leading chipboard flooring panels with the extensive Steicojoist and new Steicoultralam laminated veneer lumber (LVL) ranges aimed at specifiers and builders of residential, commercial and industrial buildings.

The result will see a focus on the supply of complete engineered floor systems comprising i-joists and flooring panels plus high strength LVL for main beams, rim boards lintels and other loadbearing requirements. Floor kits, cut to size, can be supplied direct to the distributor, timber frame manufacturer or to site.
