Two Northern Ireland building firms, with significant investments in the Republic, have gone into administration.
Family-owned Eassda Ltd, which is based in Templepatrick, was handed over to administrators BDO last week.
Waringstown-based Euro Construction Corporation, owned by Raymond Acheson, is being administered by KPMG.
In September, Eassda faced a winding-up petition served by Revenue and Customs over an unpaid tax bill.
Administrators BDO said the firm had suffered severely from the downturn in the local housing market.
"Following their appointment, the administrators and their team at BDO are undertaking an assessment and review of the company's position with a view to the marketing and sale of the sites held within the company," a statement said.
BDO is believed to be selling six sites in Co Antrim, including locations at Larne and Antrim.
Eassda is said to have interests in two golf courses in Moyvalley, Co Kildare and New Forest, Co Westmeath.
However, they are not thought to be affected by the administration order.
Both KPMG's offices in Belfast and Dublin are handling the administration of Euro Construction. The firm held land in north Dublin and Co Louth.
