Asbestos Roadshow Irish Dates

Top training organisations, HSS Training and NATAS are to host a series of roadshows throughout Ireland and the UK during January, focused on sharing the latest information and guidance on working with asbestos.

To support the HSE's 'Hidden Killer' campaign, delegates will receive an asbestos awareness briefing as well as an update on the employer’s 'duty to manage' responsibilities and health and safety advice. The session will also explore the options of in-situ management vs. removal.


HSS Training Director Mark Winfield commented: "Asbestos is obviously a big concern within the construction industry and it's essential that people are properly trained in the correct handling procedures and how to manage the associated risks.

"We hope our roadshows will help raise awareness of this 'hidden killer' and provide people the knowledge and support to deal with it as safely as possible."

Max Lopacki, Managing Director of NATAS added: "This roadshow is an excellent opportunity to network with industry experts, trainers, and other businesses to discuss the 'Hidden Killer' and to receive the latest advice on managing the hazards of working with asbestos."

HSS Training, the training division of tool and equipment hire company, HSS Hire, and leading asbestos training and management specialists, NATAS have been working together since the summer.

The roadshow reaches the HSS Dublin office on January 25, before heading up to Belfast the following day.
