Cork City Council has invited applications for the 2010 Conservation Grants Scheme.
The objective of the scheme is to assist the owner of a protected (listed) structure to undertake works necessary to secure its conservation.
The scheme is not, however, intended to assist in carrying out routine maintenance, according to the council.
The Conservation Grants Scheme does not apply to works that began before the commencement of the scheme, while the level of grants approved is dependant on the allocation received by the City Council from Central Government.
The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Friday, 26th February.
