Insurance company, Generali PanEurope is to build new headquarters in Navan, Co Meath.
The company – part of the Italian-based Generali Group – has had a presence in Navan since being established there in 1999.
The new building is to be located in the IDA Navan Business Park and will also act as the Irish base for Generali International.
Paul Gillett, CEO of Generali PanEurope commented: "While Generali PanEurope is a relatively young organisation, it plays an important role within the larger Generali Group acting as its Pan-European arm. The company has grown rapidly in recent years and expects to expand further over the coming 18 months, increasing its workforce by up to 50%."
The two-storey building will be located on a site adjacent to Athlumney House in the area.
Construction will commence in August and is expected to take up to a year, with KMD Architecture leading the design and project management team.
