Donegal County Council has announced the commencement of a further phase of urban renewal works in the town of Milford.

This scheme represents an investment in Urban Renewal in Milford Town of over €1.3 million.

Following the completion of urban renewal works in 1998, a public consultation process was undertaken whereby it was agreed that renewal works along the Main Street should be prioritised.

Donegal County Council has recently completed the acquisition of suitable lands to accommodate the construction of a new car park and link road prior to the completion of renewal works along the Main street.

The latest works began last week and are scheduled to be completed within a 26-week period.
