Communications Network To Create 80 Jobs

80 jobs are to be created by the developers of a high-speed, low-energy communications network.

According to RTE, the exemplar communications test bed is being developed by Irish firm Intune Networks and supported by a €5m investment by the Government.

The aim of the project is to ensure high-quality data can be transferred quickly without generating big energy bills.
