A construction firmed owned by a former hurling star is facing a winding up petition as a result of a dispute over an alleged debt.
A High Court petition has been filed against Congil Constriction, which is owned by former Galway player, Padraic Connolly, the Irish Independent reports.
The petition, brought forward by another Galway firm, Thomas Fahy Electrical, alleges that Mr Connolly owes €168,000 for "material supplied and services rendered" to Congil within the last six years.
Lawyers for Congil Construction, however, have said the company "disputed the alleged debt".
