This autumn will see the arrival of a creative and innovative answer to Cork major event needs with the installation of one of the world's most sophisticated temporary structures The Veldeman TFS .

With 40,000 square feet the state of the art structure is larger than the main hall of the RDS and is capable of seating up to 5,000 for a concert or conference as well as being flexible enough to host the largest consumer and business exhibitions.

The Veldeman TFS will be erected on the site of Cork's proposed permanent event centre at Cork Docklands for which planning permission has been secured.

Bill Cremin from ARC said that will use a semi-permanent structure as "an interim solution".

Visitors have already voted with their feet in approval of this location with 'Live at the Marquee' and 'Cork on Ice' attracting a combined 100,000 people each year.
