The iconic home of flat pack furniture, Ikea, plans to open another new store in Ireland.
According to Ballymun Store Manager Gary Deakin Ikea have their sights set on another outlet after the success of the city store - with a boost for Irish builders 'in store'.
The Dublin store, which opened last July, recorded sales of €15.7m in the first 36 days of operations, customers spent an average of €450,000 per day.
IKEA was founded in 1943 by 17-year-old Ingvar Kamprad in Sweden.
The company is owned by a Dutch-registered foundation that is believed to be controlled by the Kamprad family. Ikea is an acronym comprising the initials of the founder's name (Ingvar Kamprad), the farm where he grew up (Elmtaryd), and his home parish (Agunnaryd, in Småland, South Sweden).
