Donegal School Gets Extension

Despite tight financial constraints, a €1 million school extension to a school in Co Donegal is to now underway.

The works involve the construction of a two-storey extension to St. Columba's College, Drumboe Lower, Stranorlar, Co Donegal.

Works also include ancillary accommodation with emergency access and a general upgrading of existing toilets as well as re-wiring works alongside the main job of the construction of new classroom block to replace prefab block.

By mid August, the main construction work was progressing on site with the architect Carr and Company and the main contractor, Joseph McMenamin and Sons Ltd.
