The main contractor has been appointed for the development of a new youth centre at Fountain Youth Centre, Kesh, Co. Fermanagh.

The £675,000 scheme includes a two-and-a-half-storey building comprising hall, offices, meeting rooms, toilets, kitchen and ancillary facilities.

According to website, unearthore.com approximate total floor area is 900 sqm. n Insulated Concrete Formwork wall construction system is proposed.

The scheme will comprise symetrical gables to the front elevation, a link building between and a pitched centrally placed single storey porch. Car park provision is included in the plans.

Floor area approved equals 642 square metres. Meeting rooms will account for 348 square metres; Office areas 18 square metres; storage areas 50.5 square metres and Ancillary uses 225.5 square metres.

Work commenced on site during late February 2011 the contract period is 8 months.
