The RICS accreditation of the BSc in Land Use and Environmental Management at Queen's University Belfast gives future RICS members an added advantage to help address this global challenge.

As a result of the many changes affecting the natural environment, new and challenging career opportunities are emerging for those familiar with issues of sustainable development, conservation and environmental protection and management.
A fundamental knowledge and understanding of the physical, social, economic and cultural aspects of land use is essential to appreciate the interaction between land use and the environment and how this drives policy.
RICS Northern Ireland are delighted to welcome this course into the RICS partnership, bringing the total number of RICS accredited courses at Queen's University Belfast to six.
These are the BSc Hons Environmental Planning and the BSc Hons Land Use and Environmental Management as well as the MSc Construction and Project Management and those in Environmental Planning, MSc Spatial Regeneration and MSc Urban and Rural Design
