Tipp Builders Get New Tendering Deadline

The tender deadline for a Tipperary refurbishment contract has been extended from to 13th May.

The work is to be done at Clohessy Place, Bouladuff, Nth Tipperary and is a public works contract for minor building and civil engineering works.

It will involve the refurbishment of 10 single storey local authority dwellings that are to be vacated during refurbishment and the construction of one single storey extension, together with associated site works; works to be carried out in two phases.

Tender documents including Works Requirements Documents and Pricing Documents may be obtained from the National Building Agency on receipt of a written application enclosing a payment of €250 which is returnable on receipt of a bona fide tender not subsequently withdrawn and the return of the tender documents.

According to the website www.unearthore.com the completed Form of Tender, the completed Suitability Assessment Questionnaires relating to the conditions for participation and the completed pricing documents all in separate sealed envelopes endorsed 'Refurbishment Works - Phase 2, Clohessy Place, Bouladuff, Nth Tipperary' and also with the tenderer's name will be received by the Company Secretary, National Building Agency, "Hatherton", Richmond Avenue South, Milltown, Dublin 6 not later than 12.00 noon on Friday, 6 May 2011.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted and it will be a condition for the award of a contract by North Tipperary County Council that the successful tenderer and all sub-contractors produce a valid Tax Clearance Certificate or C2 Certificate from the Revenue Commissioners.

The award of the tender will be subject to the approval of the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government.
