A contract involving the renewal and installation of electrical works at a school in Co Westmeath is to be carried out as a 'Summer Works' scheme.

The value of the contract is estimated to be in the region of €80,000.00 to €100,000.00 and tenders are being invited.

It will be necessary to show the financial capacity to carry out this project, financial with regard to financing and cash flow requirements, technical and management with regard to firm's ability, technical with regard to (named) foreman's and tradesmen's ability and experience, and technical and management with regard to experience and longevity of (named) contracts engineer.

Any contractor also needs to show with easily contacted end-user client references, that they have done three projects of similar size and complexity, at least two under Government contracts conditions, in the past three years.
