Go Ahead For Castle Redevelopment

Plans for the redevelopment of Limerick’s King John’s Castle have been approved by Limerick City Council.

The €5.7 million scheme had met with councillors reservations.

Work is set to begin soon and is scheduled for completion in 2012 to celebrate the castle’s 800th anniversary.

Shannon Development must comply with the eight conditions set out by the council.
