Tenders Sought For €1.9m School Extension

Tenders are currently being sought for the appointment of a contractor to look after the construction of a new school in County Galway.

The project in Carrowmanagh will see the demolition of the existing school followed by the construction of new single-storey 16-classroom school.

A new access junction, footpath and all associated signage, parking and external play area will also be tackled during the project.

The scheme will incorporate the connection to existing public services and all other ancillary site works at the former Scoil Chuimin Naofa site.

Construction work is anticipated to commence in November this year.The development will measure 2,219 sq.m. and will be located on a 1.64 hectare site. It is estimated to cost in the region of €1.9m.
