An Irish and UK distributor has had one of their products certified by a prestigious body.

Acara Concepts Limited have announced that their Phonewell acoustic insulation board has been accredited by the British Board of Agrement Certification (BBA).

The rigorous assessment carried out by the BBA has proven that Phonewell complies with the Building Regulations across the UK and Ireland, and that it is a quality product, fit for purpose.

Meaning that architects, specifiers, contractors and insurers can be assured that they are using a quality proven product.

Phonewell is a unique acoustic insulation board;it is an ecological, natural product which significantly reduces both airborne sound, such as talking or television noise, and impact sound, such as footstep noise overhead.

The product can be used on walls, floors and ceilings and is only 15mm thick. This sound insulation is suitable for new build, retrofit and remedial projects.

Phonewell has also been recently awarded the 'Outstanding Innovative Achievement' for a construction product.
