The stalled Opera Centre development in Limerick City centre is back on the market after a five-year wait for the new complex.
The site was sold at the height of the property boom for €110m by Belfast property developer, Suneil Sharma.
Now three years on the site value, which includes 40 properties, has depreciated to €12.5m.
But Regeneration Developments and the three men behind the project, Jerry O’Reilly, Terry Sweeney and David Courtney are putting the site back on the market.
According to the Limerick Leader estate agents Savills are to launch a marketing campaign to find a buyer for the 3.2-acre site which has planning permission for a multi-storey shopping centre with 38,541sq m (414,855 sq ft) of retail space and an underground car park.
