John Sisk & Son along with subcontractors Roadform Contracts Ltd will develop Fullabrook Wind Farm in Devon.
Devon Wind Power Ltd, a subsidiary of ESB, awarded John Sisk & Son the contract which comprise 22 turbines, together producing up to 66 megawatts when fully operational.
The turbines will provide sufficient electricity for nearly 30,000 domestic consumers, or 30% of North Devon's total energy consumption.

Each turbine will be 65 metres high to the hub with 45 metre blades. The total height of the turbines will therefore be 110 metres to the tip of the blade.
An on-site electricity substation has been constructed on the southern edge of the wind farm site.
Work includes the upgrading of existing public roads and junctions, site enabling works,construction of 15km of access roads, base excavations, cable ducting, base and access track reinstatement.
