Tenders are currently being sought for the construction of 60 houses in a social development scheme in Derry.

Planning applications revealed the intention for 60 houses with an option for a further 40 social housing units on lands between Glengalliagh Road and Racecourse Road, Bradley's Pass, Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

Engineering services, external and site development works will also be tackled during the project.

According to www.unearthore.com it is estimated that the scheme will cost around £8m and will take in the region of 18 months to complete.

If promoters, Apex Housing, decide to build another 40 house on the site, with engineering services, external and site development works it is estimated that this will take a further 15 months to complete.
