Fuel Laundering Plant Found In Co Cavan

An oil laundering plant has been discovered in County Cavan.

Local Gardai and officers found it in a yard behind a house in Whitegate, Virginia.

It is believed the plant could launder 10 million litres of fuel every year.

Two vans, bleaching earth, a compressor, a large quantity of laundered fuel and ancillary equipment were seized at the plant.

One man was questioned and later released.
