Grants to upgrade your home's energy efficiency and lower your energy bills, are available through the Better Energy Homes scheme, administered by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI).

Homeowners can join the 125,000 others who have already improved the comfort levels in their home and received cash grants through the scheme to install insulation, solar panels and heating system upgrades.

Commenting on the continuing availability of grants, Mr Pat Rabbitte Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources said: “The Better Energy Homes scheme is a win-win for all. Homeowners save on the cost of works and benefit from ongoing energy savings. The scheme creates and supports valuable jobs in the construction sector. And Ireland gains from reduced reliance on imported fossil fuels and reduced harmful emissions.
