Planning Application For Fort George Regeneration

Minister Nelson McCausland has announced that Ilex Urban Regeneration Company has lodged an outline planning application for the re-development of the 14 acre Fort George site in Londonderry.

Welcoming the application, Minister McCausland said: “The outline planning application foresees major mixed use development on Fort George, including residential, office, leisure, light industrial, educational, community facilities, convenience retail, cafes and restaurants. It will also include associated multi-storey and surface car parking, landscaping and environmental roads infrastructure.
