Artwork Commissioned For Old Railway Station House

Waterford County Local Authorities and Tramore Tidy Towns have worked together to create a welcoming feature at the Old Railway Station House grounds which is one of the first sights people see on entering Tramore.

Anne Cheasty, Chairperson of Tramore Tidy Towns said: "The boarded up windows and gable end have been freshly painted and the old chain link fences have been removed. The area to the front of the building has been tidied up, levelled and a new surface has been laid. Trees have been planted, along with a flowerbed to the left of the building and a fantastic mural by local artist Rory Thompson has been erected which reflects some of Tramore's stories but which is also contemporary in it’s outlook."
