Man Fined £250 For Planning Offence

A L'Derry man was fined a total of £250, plus £75 court costs and £20 summons costs, at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court.

Mr Brian Hughes of Garden Street, Magherafelt was charged with four counts of displaying unauthorised signage on land south west of 87 Moyarget Road, Ballycastle.

DOE Planning brought about the charges under Article 84 of the Planning (NI) Order 1991, (as amended), which states it is an offence to display an advertisement without consent.
