Boiler Replacement Allowance Welcomed

Alastair Pollock, Business Development Director of Phoenix Natural Gas, welcomed the announcement from the NI Executive about the government Boiler Replacement Allowance.

Mr Pollock said: "We have found there to be overwhelming demand for the government boiler replacement allowance with many households choosing to upgrade to high efficiency natural gas heating systems. The demand for new natural gas connections as a direct result of this scheme has been unprecedented. Improving the energy efficiency of your home is a smart investment, and we would encourage those that are eligible for this grant not to miss the opportunity to take it up."
