Social Development Minister Nelson McCausland has opened a new £2.3m social housing scheme at Mullacreevie Green in Armagh.
The new development of 21 family homes by Fold Housing Association has been provided with part funding from the Northern Ireland Executive. All have been allocated to families from the social housing waiting list.
After viewing the new houses and speaking to residents, Minister McCausland said: "The delivery of decent, affordable, sustainable housing is a key priority for my Department. Having a warm comfortable home is one of the most fundamental rights a person can have. Fold Housing Association is to be congratulated for putting together such an impressive package.
"This continues to be an area of high housing need and this new scheme has taken 21 families from the waiting list and provided them with the best of modern, energy efficient housing. I wish all well in their new homes."
