Regional Development Minister Danny Kenned has announced the start of a £125,000 major resurfacing scheme next week on the B122 Tattyreagh Road, on the main link between Fintona and Omagh.
Asphalt resurfacing work will commence on Monday 25th November 2013 from its junction with the Seskinore Road for 1.25kilometres towards Fintona.
The Minister said: "This scheme will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of the carriageway on this main route between Omagh and Fintona."
Due to the restricted carriageway width available, and to help minimise any potential conflict between the site works and traffic associated with the travelling public, it will be necessary to close the B122 Tattyreagh Road to through traffic for the period Monday 25th November 2013 to Friday 6th December 2013 inclusive and between the hours of 08:00am to 18:00pm. All traffic will be diverted via Seskinore using the B83 Seskinore Road & B46 Carnalea Road. Local access is retained.
