Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy has announced the start of a £250,000 major resurfacing scheme on Blaney Road, Newtownhamilton next week.
Preparatory works began on the 25 November in the vicinity of Tullygleasy Road.
The Minister said: "The scheme will improve the quality of the road surface and improve the drainage on this stretch of road."
To help minimise any inconvenience to the travelling public and local businesses this scheme is programmed to be completed using manual traffic control measures for preparation work and local road closures for resurfacing work.
The scheme is expected to be completed before Christmas.
