Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy has announced the start of a £240,000 right turning lane and resurfacing scheme at B43 Mullaghmore Road/C637 Tullydraw Road junction.
The scheme, beginning this week, at B43 Mullaghmore Road/C637 Tullydraw Road junction is expected to be completed by 1 April 2014.
The Minister said: "This scheme will provide a right turning facility on the B43 Mullaghmore Road, Dungannon for vehicles travelling from Dungannon towards Rock and it will also provide an improved carriageway surface at this location."
To help minimise any inconvenience to the travelling public and local businesses, the majority of work is programmed to be completed off-line. However road closures of B43 Mullaghmore Road and C637 Tullydraw Road will be required at various periods throughout the course of the works, with signed diversions via C636 Tullycullion Road and A29 Cookstown Road put in place when necessary.
