A £190,000 road improvement scheme in Downpatrick is to begin on Monday 30 June.
The work will extend for approximately a 1km stretch of the B176 Killough Road from the Grange Road junction towards Downpatrick.
Transport Minister Danny Kennedy said: "This £190,000 scheme represents a significant investment in the roads infrastructure in the Killough area.
"Once work is complete, road users will quickly realise the long term benefits from the new road surface along the stretch."
The scheme is expected to be finished by 15 August.
