Transport Minister Danny Kennedy has announced a £150,000 resurfacing scheme for the B67 Moyarget Road, Mosside.
The project will commence on 4 August, from the C100 Moycraig Road West, for around 1.5km towards the U44 Carnbore Road.
Where possible, the work will be carried out using lane closures only, but a full closure of the Moyarget Road will be required from 4 to 8 August to allow for the carriageway resurfacing works.
The scheme is expected to be substantially completed on 8 August.
During the closures, a signed diversion route will be in place for motorists and will be via Toberdoney Road, Carnbore Road, Haw Road, Straid Road and Moycraig Road.
Minister Kennedy said: "This scheme will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of the carriageway on part of this important road."
