A resurfacing project on the Sandown Road in Belfast is to start on 4 August.
The scheme is expected to take approximately 10 weeks to complete.
The Sandown Road will be closed in one direction, to traffic travelling city-bound from the Knock Road towards the Upper Newtownards Road.
In addition, vehicles will not be allowed to turn in this direction from any of the side streets. The closure will remain in place 24 hours a day and a city-bound diversion will be in place via Knock Road and Upper Newtownards Road.
Country-bound traffic will be accommodated on the Sandown Road but as the available carriageway will be reduced to one traffic lane, no parking will be permitted along the Sandown Road so that traffic travelling in the country-bound direction towards Knock Road is not obstructed.
