Building Begins On New Endoscopy Unit

Construction is underway on the new €6 million Endoscopy Unit at Roscommon County Hospital.

The 14,000 square foot unit is to become a diagnostic centre for the Western region.

Fine Gael TD for Roscommon/South Leitrim, Frank Feighan, said: "I gave a commitment to secure significant investment for Roscommon Hospital and the Endoscopy Suite is part of a €20 million investment earmarked for the hospital. The other flagship projects are a Rehab Unit and a Hospice Care Centre."
