A £335,000 road improvement project has been announced for L'Derry.
Preliminary work will begin on the Buncrana Road from Branch Roundabout to Skeoge Roundabout on 20th September, with the main resurfacing being undertaken between 27th September and 28th September.
The scheme is expected to be substantially completed by 28th September.
Transport Minister Danny Kennedy said: "This scheme will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of the carriageway on this section of this important road."
For preliminary excavation works it will be necessary to close the road. T
Additionally for the final surfacing works it will be necessary to close the road on 27th September from 6am to 6pm and on 28th from 5am to 5pm.
A diversionary route via A515 Skeoge Link, B521 Glengalliagh Road, B522 Templemore Road and vice versa will be signposted.
