Resolute Marine Energy has completed the registration of its own subsidiary in Ireland, Resolute Marine Limited (RML), based in Cork.

RML will soon move its operations from Dublin to the Irish Maritime and Energy Resource Cluster (IMERC) campus at the National Maritime College of Ireland.

"We're very excited to start working more closely with our great partner network in Ireland," said RME CEO Bill Staby. "We've had a small workforce in Ireland for over a year and as we debated about where to expand our European presence, setting up in Cork to take advantage of the sincere commitment by many Irish government offices, academic institutions, enterprises and individuals to build a robust marine energy cluster centred there stood out as the obvious best choice. We're also eagerly awaiting the 2015 opening of the UCC National Beaufort Laboratory which will give RML access to a wide range of state-of-the art resources to improve our technology and overall business."
