Sewerage Upgrade Works To Start On The Newtownards Road

Essential sewerage upgrade works are to start in the Reaville Park/Upper Newtownards Road area of east Belfast during the week commencing Monday 20 October.

NI Water has scheduled the work to last for approximately eight weeks.

A road closure will be required to allow safe access to the site. The road closure will be restricted from the junction of Upper Newtownards Road and Reaville Park. Traffic diversions will be in place for all other traffic, with routes clearly signposted, and vehicle access for residents will be maintained as far as possible.

A weekend lane closure will be in operation on the Upper Newtownards Road over four weekends, beginning on Friday 24 October, but pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
