Fold Ireland has bought 13 apartments in County Meath.
This is the first social housing development project the firm has undertaken outside Dublin.
The apartments, located in Dunboyne, will provide housing for older people, and the development is a result of Fold Ireland's work with Meath County Council.
Fold's Development Manager, Tina Donaghy, said: "We are delighted to announce the purchase of the apartments at Dunboyne Castle, our first development outside Dublin since Fold Ireland was established in 2001.
"The purchase would not have been successful without the dedication of staff from Meath County Council, the Housing Agency and Fold Ireland, in delivering these much sought after homes in a high demand area at time when the market is moving at great speed."
The accommodation is made up of seven one-bedroom and six two-bedroom apartments. The apartments are all finished to a high standard, with fully fitted kitchens.
