Resurfacing Scheme In Pomeroy Begins

A £200,000 resurfacing project is Pomeroy has started.

The project, on the Tandragee Road, extends a distance of approximately 1.4 kilometres from the junction with the Edendoit Road to the junction with the Slatequarry Road.

The work also includes the resurfacing of approximately 0.8 kilometres of footway along the Tandragee Road. Preparatory work began early last week on the scheme which is expected to take a total of four weeks to complete.

A road closure will be required to facilitate the final surfacing of the carriageway. The road closure is scheduled to take place from the 8th to the 12th December. During this period traffic diversions will be in place.
